Clients of the Centre
As a client of the Women's Health Centre, you have the right to:
- Expect a quality service
- Be greeted and welcomed with respect and courtesy
- Expect the information you share with us is treated as confidential (except where duty of care issues arise)
- Have your cultural background and beliefs acknowledged and accepted
- Be heard and have your story believed
- Expect support and advocacy from Centre workers
- Feel safe
- Find information about our service, how you can participate and use the Centre
- Speak with the centre counsellor of you choice
- Choose to what extent you participate in the Centre and you can change your mind at any time
As a client of the Centre you have a responsibility to support Centre Management's duty to uphold the rights of all clients and staff.
You can do this by:
- Respecting the confidentiality of other users of the Centre.
- Interacting with other users of the centre and staff in a respectful and courteous manner
- Respecting the rights of others to use the resources of the centre, for example, by returning library books on time
- Adhere to standard health and safety regulations.
The Women's Health Centre keeps minimal information about you and how you use the Centre.
If you wish to give feedback on our service or you are not satisfied with any aspect of the service, you can:
- speak to a staff or management member
- inform us in writing
- feedback can remain anonymous
